I wasn't expecting to have Middle Eastern food for dinner this evening, but when I asked Yelp for restaurants that were open and inexpensive, this place was at the top of the list and it's near where I want to be. Easy.
Warmly greeted and seated, I placed my order. A few minutes later, a plate of hummus with a grilled pita arrived. A nice portion and while the hummus was a little thinner than my preference, it's hard to beat the presentation. It's the New Mexico flag! Too cute and a shame to disturb it. But disturb it I did and I enjoyed the flavorful hummus.
Dinner arrived a few minutes later - a big plate of chicken shawarma with tender fluffy rice and a light salad. Moist and delicious, I cleared the plate.
And I bought a box of rose water Turkish delights to bring home. Not at all an expensive meal and it was terrific. I can see why this place is rated so high. It's excellent!
Found this gem while on a road trip. The food was absolutely amazing! I had the lamb, and it was so juicy and tender and the hummus was delicious. Our server Shanna was absolutely amazing and very attentive to us. Would absolutely recommend to anyone passing through!
I can't recommend this restaurant enough!!! Food was absolutely delicious, staff was very friendly and helpful. Ordered the Combo Plate with Hummus. I highly recommend and I will be coming back.
Right off Highway 40 in Gallop is this gem of a place. After reading the other reviews, I knew we stumbled upon something good. Clean, friendly, menu variety, fresh, priced right. The lentil soup was very tasty as were the taboule and chicken schwarma special. My stomach is very happy!

Fantastic food and service!!! Hard to believe in Gallup, NM but probably the best Shamarma I have ever had. The turkish coffee and hummus were fantastic too. The only downfall is that I don’t live here but will definitely add as a must stop when passing through next time.
Great food and fresh. The servers were attentive and friendly. The Turkish coffee was presented nicely in copper pots. They katayif cheese was local and fresh.
I travel to the Middle East a lot and have grown to love the food. It's really hard to find good authentic food, and to find it in small Gallup New Mexicr was shocking. The food was so good, I'll travel from Atlanta to Gallup just to eat here again.
